LOST SEONGSU
, located in the fast-changing industrial neighborhood of Seongsu-dong, Seoul, presents a project space highlighting artworks around floral motifs.
PARACOSM STUDIO, located on the ground floor of LOST SEONGSU, enlisted Seoul and London based creative unit SOL STUDIO for the task.
The space consists of works depicting flowers in various states of bloom and array, featuring the works of four fashion photographers exhibited around centerpiece installations by floral artist KIM.TAEHEE.KIM. Pakbae, Giseok Cho, Jack Davison and Lea Colombo, based respectively in Seoul and London, incorporate their distinctively recognizable aesthetics to present a unique interpretation of the classic floral motif.
The project space, located on the ground floor showroom of LOST SEONGSU, is open to the public from June 1st to the end of July. During the opening reception (June 5-6th), natural & biodynamic wines by the glass, signature hors-d’oeuvres and live DJ sessions will be available, all inspired by floral themes.
Throughout the space, visitors may also find PARACOSM STUDIO’s latest collections, as well as a sample a select list of vinyls curated by LOST SEONGSU’s in-house team of musicians. Exclusive to the opening reception will be a media art installation by KOHUI, who presents his reinterpretation of KIM.TAEHEE.KIM’s floral sculptures using generative algorithms.
